🎭 Stage & Screen

A performer at heart, long before the microphone.

Before she ever stepped into a recording booth, Sumara Meers was at home on stage. Her first taste of performing came in Year 4, dressed in a vintage op-shop frock, belting out “The Skipping-Rope Hornpipe” with a Mars Bar in hand, a moment of unfiltered joy that sparked a lifelong love of storytelling through performance.

That spark grew into serious craft. Sumara trained with the legendary English duo Maxwell and Vayne, embraced both tragedy and comedy, and studied acting through NIDA intensives and a full-time performing arts degree. Her roles have ranged from Juliet to St Joan of Arc, from queens to clowns, always with an eye for nuance and connection.

Today, Sumara continues to bring characters to life; on stage, on screen, and in the studio. Her acting roots inform her voiceover work, giving every read a rich emotional palette, while her presence on camera remains grounded, real, and compelling.
