One of the most critical elements of any advertisement is the voice you hear, conveying the tone of the brand and providing information about the product or service.
Although commercial voice-overs are fun, I’m very businesslike about them. Depending on the target market and demographic, you may need me to sound like the girl next door, an educated and informed professional, perhaps a scholar, or even an outrageous character.
And not every commercial is broadcast on TV, radio or the Internet; you may need a voice for point-of-sale ads (in a petrol station or supermarket), network promos, trailers, in-store audio and infomercials.
